We're heading to the Web 2.0 Expo in New York, October 10-13. It seems like it's a ways away, but no doubt it will be right on top of us in no time.
Hello JaM Plugin Users!
I wanted to welcome those new users of the JaM Plugin and reconnect with those veteran users of our JIRA / QC integration. If we haven't met before, my name is Rich and I'm the JaM Plugin Product Manager here at Go2Group.
Right off the top, I want you to know we're here to help you get up and running (and keep you running) as quickly as possible. We've even added a new tool to our arsenal to support your requests (more on that in a minute).
New product helps bridge the gap between requirement and issue management
Bel Air, MD - June 27, 2011 – Go2Group, a leader in the field of Software Production Line Automation (SPLA), announced the debut of their new requirement and issue management integration solution, the Go2Group DOORS Plugin for JIRA. A simple addition to Atlassian JIRA, the Go2Group DOORS Plugin for JIRA provides seamless integration between to different teams.
Last week, we attended Atlassian Summit in San Francisco, CA. I could say it was a terrific show, but it went beyond being "just" terrific. A few announcements from the show itself:
Latest release supports nested requirements and simplified user management tools
We're moving synapseRT to its new home: www.synapseRT.com. Since we'll have our own space, we'll be able to do a bit more, which we think you'll like.
Keep an eye our for your invitation to our new home!
Bel Air, MD and San Francisco, CA – June 6, 2011 – Go2Group, a leader in the field of Software Production Line Automation (SPLA), announced today the immediate availability of the latest version of their requirement and traceability plugin for Atlassian JIRA. Go2Group synapseRT provides test, requirement, and traceability within JIRA, without the need to access a third-party application for test management.
“We've seen an urgent need from test and development teams for a simple traceability solution that fits within their current application stack,” said Mike Maheu, Go2Group VP, Technology. “Go2Group synapseRT fills this need, and the latest version builds on the success we've seen from the initial release. With the ability to next requirements, we're confident Go2Group synapseRT is matching up with our user's requests."
Lately, I've been asked more and more about alternative version control systems from teams looking for integration and deploy options in their development process. The two I most often discuss are Git and Mercurial. Here's why.
There is a bit of a natural disruption occurring in today's version control system ecosystem. These are exciting times - new features are being demanded by users and these upstart systems are developing new ways of addressing these needs.
